Stoke man charged after £75k of drugs and weapons found
Police have charged a 31-year-old Stoke-on-Trent man after officers seized an estimated £75,000 worth of drugs, knuckle dusters and tasers during a search.
A 31-year-old man has been charged after police seized an estimated £75,000 worth of drugs and a number of weapons during a search in Stoke-on-Trent.
Officers from the Stoke North local policing team searched an address near Chell Heath Road on Tuesday, 8 September.
Police said they seized drugs, knuckle dusters and tasers during the operation.
Matthew Moores, 31, from Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A cocaine, possession with intent to supply Class B cannabis, possession of an offensive weapon in a private place and two counts of possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, gas or electrical incapacitation device.
Moores was due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday, 10 September.
The charges follow the police operation by the Stoke North team.
