You know who you are as Hartshill doorstep thief caught on camera stealing Amazon parcels
Amazon parcels have reportedly been stolen from a Hartshill doorstep with CCTV said to clearly show the person involved and a warning that the footage could be handed to authorities.
Residents in Hartshill are being urged to be aware after Amazon parcels were reportedly taken from a doorstep on Hartshill Road earlier today.
The resident says the parcels were taken from outside their property, with the incident captured on CCTV.
While the items themselves were described as being of nothing of significant value, the resident says the footage clearly shows the person involved and that it will be passed to the authorities if the parcels are not returned.
The resident said: “Had someone robbed some Amazon parcels from my doorstep on Hartshill Road earlier today. Nothing of significance but you can clearly see their face and I will be forwarding this on to the authorities if they are not returned by tomorrow.”
They added a direct message to whoever took them: “If you're out there, you know who you are.”
The incident is a reminder for residents to be mindful of deliveries being left unattended, particularly where properties are easily accessible from the street.
Anyone who recognises the person involved, or who may have information about the incident, is encouraged to pass the information to the appropriate authorities.
