Stoke-on-Trent man jailed for more than 10 years over string of sexual offences

A 22-year-old man from Stoke-on-Trent has been jailed for 10 years and 11 months after being found guilty of rape and admitting a string of serious sexual offences involving children.

Dylan Jepson was sentenced to 10-years-and-11-months in prison, followed by a three-year extended licence period, after being found guilty of the rape of a woman. He had also admitted a number of offences at three earlier hearings.

The offences admitted by Jepson include nine counts of sexual communication with a child, two counts of causing a child to watch a sex act, three counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and one count of attempted sexual communication with a child.

He also admitted two counts of attempting to cause a child to watch a sex act, sending indecent images with the intention of causing alarm, distress or humiliation, two counts of making indecent images of children and possession of extreme pornography.
