A major clean-up operation in Hanley has seen around 300lbs of rubbish removed from the town as efforts continue to tackle waste, anti-social behaviour and the general appearance of the city centre.
The clean-up brought together the Hanley BID Environmental Ambassador and the Town Officer, working together to remove discarded rubbish and help keep the area looking cleaner and more welcoming for residents, shoppers and businesses.
The partnership highlights the importance of different organisations working together to tackle issues affecting Hanley. Removing waste not only improves the appearance of the town, but can also help tackle some of the wider problems associated with litter and anti-social behaviour.
With around 300lbs of rubbish taken away, the latest clean-up is another positive step towards keeping Hanley clean and showing that partnership working can make a real difference on the ground.
