Police hunt man after attempted break-ins at Milton businesses

Staffordshire Police have launched an investigation after a man attempted to break into two businesses on Leek Road, Milton, overnight from Sunday into Monday.

The incidents happened in the early hours of Monday, with CCTV capturing a man attempting to gain entry. Police have been searching for him today, but there has been no further update on his whereabouts.

The man is described as being in his mid-30s with a slim build, wearing a green coat and balaclava.

Police are now appealing for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage from the area overnight to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident 316 of August 24.

The investigation remains ongoing, with residents and local businesses urged to remain vigilant and ensure their premises are securely locked overnight.
