A stolen Toyota pick-up and trailer taken during a suspected early-morning farm burglary have been recovered in Stoke-on-Trent, with police now appealing for information about the suspects.
A Toyota pick-up truck and trailer stolen during a burglary at a farm in Staffordshire have been recovered in Stoke-on-Trent. Staffordshire Police were called to a farm on Blakeley Lane, Dilhorne, at around 3am on Tuesday, August 11, following reports that the vehicles had been taken. The truck and trailer were reportedly stolen using their keys.
Police say the suspects are believed to have arrived at the farm on a light-coloured motorbike. Three men were reportedly seen, all wearing black clothing and balaclavas. Officers are also investigating a separate suspicious incident reported in the Blythe Bridge area around 30 minutes earlier, which may be connected to the burglary.
The stolen Toyota was later found on Addington Way in Longton at around 10.20am on Wednesday, August 12. Staffordshire Police say enquiries are continuing and are appealing for anyone who may have information, CCTV, dashcam footage or doorbell recordings to come forward, quoting incident number 078 of August 11.
