Man Seriously Injured After Crash Shuts Busy Stoke-on-Trent Road
A man has suffered serious injuries following a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on a busy Stoke-on-Trent road, with 999 crews rushing to the scene.
Emergency services were called to King Street in Longton shortly before 2pm on Friday (August 21) following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian. An ambulance, paramedic officer and Midlands Air Ambulance were sent to the scene, with police also attending as the busy road was closed.
A man who was involved in the collision suffered serious injuries and was treated by ambulance crews before being taken by land ambulance to Royal Stoke University Hospital. The circumstances surrounding the crash have not yet been fully confirmed, while the road closure caused disruption in the area as emergency services dealt with the incident.
