In the aftermath of the devastating fire in Golden Hill, Stoke-on-Trent, the community has once again shown its incredible strength, kindness and generosity.
Golden Hill Community Centre has been at the heart of efforts to support those affected, with donations pouring in from people who simply want to help their neighbours during an incredibly difficult time.
The response from the local community has been overwhelming. From essential items and donations to the many volunteers giving up their time, people have come together to offer practical help, comfort and support when it is needed most.
A message from those involved at the community centre said:
“We are working our way through the donations. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers for their help and support xx 🙏🏼”
The message reflects the huge amount of gratitude felt towards everyone who has contributed. Whether through donating much-needed items, giving their time, organising collections or simply checking in on those affected, every act of kindness has made a difference.
